This bag uses a mix of Brazilian Linguado (sole) and Nile Perch from Kenya. Linguado is a demersal fish, found at the bottom of oceans around the world. Our Linguado comes from a community of fishermen's wives in the south of Brazil who handles rest of fish skins from the fisheries industry in the area and transform them in leather for the fashion industry. The Nile Perch used in this bag comes from the Lake Turkana area in Kenya and is the byproduct of a frozen fish factory that works together with the women in the community to transform the skins into leather.
The recycled chamois and the silver chain add softness and class to this unique piece.
